On the eve of the World Cup, Adidas got fans in Los Angeles fired up with a special event that included the opportunity to design their own jerseys.

Held at The Base L.A. soccer venue two miles east of Dodger Stadium, it featured interactive stations such as trying on the X 18 laceless boot and doing ball tricks in an augumented-reality video with Brazilian star Marcelo. There was also Tango League action and the work of the artist Saber, whose designs were fused with the official national jerseys of various nations as part of the DIY-creative section.
