A mother is an angel in disguise, unless she's on Twitter.

Forget owner Donald Sterling or Clipper Darrell being unhappy, the mother of a Los Angeles Clippers player has bashed the effort of her own son's team.

"Wake up #Clippers! . . . Damn, nobody is rebounding in a red jersey. . . . I think I need to put all of the #clippers n a time out for not working well together . . . Can we ALL play both ends of the floor? . . . Y'all just let him shoot n the corner by himself? . . . Stop looking for the foul and play ball. . . I'm sick of hearing excuses."

That sage wisdom isn't from coach Vinny Del Negro, nope those are the Twitter messages of Kimberly Jones, the mother of Clips center DeAndre Jordan. She made the comments during Wednesday night's 114-91 annihilation at the hands of the the Oklahoma City Thunder.

As the Clippers dream season slowly begins to circle the drain, DeAndre was asked by FoxSportsWest.com if his mother should deliver a pep talk in person to his suddenly lousy teammates.

"I don't know if they want that pep talk," Jordan said shaking his head.

Lob City has turned into Disappointment City.

All that hope of a magical run in the playoffs has crumbled like the knees of your typical Clippers lottery pick.

LA's other team has just an 8-11 record over their last 19 games. Suddenly the Utah Jazz are just two games back of knocking Blake Griffin's Clippers out of a playoff spot.

A mystery it's not.

"It ain't no secret," Chris Paul said. "A couple of losses here and there and we're out of the playoffs. We've got to play with a sense of urgency, but most of all we've got to be better. We've got 20 games left, and we've got to be good in those 20 games or we're going to be home in early May watching the playoffs." … "I don't know the answers," Paul said. "We've got to figure it out because it's getting to be a little embarrassing."

Paul should join the over 130 who follow Kimberly Jordan's Twitter feed, she clearly has more answers than coach Del Negro has for the Clippers these days.
