Jeremy Lin

Linsanity is eternal in Manhattan. Jeremy Lin will always be remembered at Madison Square Garden for his brief moment of dominance, and if his career ever takes him back to the Knicks, fans will embrace him right where he left off.

Across the East River in Brooklyn, the vibe is different. Lin signed a three-year deal with the Nets this summer, but the fans haven't bought into his aura yet. As this Comedy Central bit with Lin shows, he is actually scaring away fans outside Barclays Center.

Hopefully, those fans are actors and Lin is not ruining his Brooklyn image before he even takes the court. Considering the final fan appears to have a heart attack, it is almost definite these fans are actors.

And if they are real fans, well, it is going to be a long Nets season.

Lin averaged 11.7 points per game with the Hornets in 2015-16.
