Dikembe Mutombo made his NBA debut in 1991. At the time, he never could have imagined the league would actually take a pool of players to his home continent of Africa for an offseason exhibition. But a few weeks ago, the NBA did just that for the second time after staging the inaugural game in 2015.

Mutombo was on hand in Johannesburg for the action. The native of the Democratic Republic of the Congo was in awe of what he saw, and he explained some of that to ThePostGame.
