Kris Nathan Humphries was born February 6, 1985.

Humphries was a force in basketball in the state of Minnesota. In his senior year of high school, he averaged 25.7 points, 11.4 rebounds and 5.0 assists a game and was named a 2003 McDonald's All-American. Rivals.com ranked him as a 5-star player.

Humphries attended the University of Minnesota, where as a freshman he was dominant. He averaged 21.7 points and 10.1 rebounds (both tops in the Big Ten). He was the first freshman to lead the Big Ten in scoring and rebounding in the same season, according to Wikipedia.

The Utah Jazz drafted Humphries with the 14th overall pick in the 2004 draft. While his NBA career has been solid, he has provided us with some memorable moments like this fight with Rajon Rondo:

In all seriousness, his time in the league since 2004 with the Jazz, Toronto Raptors, Dallas Mavericks, New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets, Boston Celtics, and now the Washington Wizards has been productive. Humphries averaged a double-double for an entire season twice with the Nets.

We mostly know Humphries for his time dating and being married to reality star Kim Kardashian on the show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians", and the divorce that took place just 72 days after the couple tied the knot.

It must be hard sometimes for Humphries, even though he says it doesn't get to him. He has to deal with things like Kim's nude photos and chants of "Kanye" as he tries to shoot free throws.

I am sure he is doing just fine in the ladies department himself. Happy 30th birthday, Kris Humphries.
