The court drama between Dwyane Wade and his ex-wife hit another low point recently as Siohvaughn Funches-Wade, protested outside a Chicago courthouse after losing a grueling custody battle for the couple's children.

Funches-Wade, sitting on a mat on the sidewalk outside the Daley Center in downtown Chicago, held a sign that read, "NBA Miami Heat star, mother of his children on the streets" and alleged that she had not seen her children for weeks.

This is the most recent development in an ugly custody battle between Wade and Funches-Wade. Wade filed for divorce from his high school sweetheart in 2007, finalized the split in 2010 and received custody of the couple's boys in 2011.

One year ago Funches-Wade was arrested for alleged mistreatment of their children.

Last week Funches-Wade tried to fire her attorney, who was paid for by Wade. She was also arrested by Circuit Court Judge Thomas Carr for appearing late in court.

“Dwyane Wade is offering to pay only some of what he owes me if I sign an agreement never again to discuss what happened in our marriage or with our children. I refuse,” Funches-Wade said, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. “I finally told Carr I just wanted to end the case and keep my freedom and my voice. I told him I didn't want anything from Dwyane. The judge demanded the trial continue. I couldn't believe it."
