Westin Hotels found that running was so popular with so many of its guests that the company needed a specialist to address their needs. In 2013, Westin had more than 1,000 applicants to become its first national running concierge. The job went to Chris Heuisler, a marathoner from Philadelphia. He travels to different Westin locales around the country, particularly if there is a big race in that town, to help guests make the most of the experience.
