According to this FoxSports profile, the two met in Las Vegas when the young coach was there to do a fundraiser for the University of Wisconsin (where he coached before heading to Arkansas). He, according to the story, taught her how to play blackjack. She won $600 and the two exchanged numbers -- and finally, after five months, met up again.
"I got the best recruit ever," Bielema told FoxSports. "It was my best sales job ever to get her. I'm glad I waited."
And for those who don't care about the love story, here's the coach's better half in a widely circulated bikini picture.
The team wrapped up its kickoff luncheon Sunday and start the season this week against Louisiana.
