They're all very interesting and different, but isn't it relatively fair to say that even the actual choice wasn't the right one? The current color and design schemes are a bit much, no?

3. Lost art of nicknames
Gone are the baseball days when players were given truly interesting nicknames, not just some abbreviated version of their full name, like A-Rod or A-Gon. "Death to Flying Things," now there's a nickname. Sounds like the name of an anti-aircraft gun.
