Scoop Jardine might have the biggest following in college basketball, and he may also have the biggest heart.

A few weeks back, a mother from upstate New York became the latest parent in America to post a video of her child crying on YouTube. Clips of her son, Shane Oliver's reaction to the news that his favorite player, Scoop, would be playing his final few games with the Orange after graduation went viral on Yahoo's college basketball blog "The Dagger."

Jardine was one of more than 60,000 people to view the video, and he quickly reached out to the 4-year old's mother, Audrey Barone, on Twitter to set up a meeting.

Scoop and Michael Carter Williams spent part of Monday visiting with the little guy from Mattydale, New York, at the Carmelo K. Anthony Center. They played some basketball and surprised Shane with an autographed basketball for his birthday, according to the Syracuse Post-Standard.

They even taught him the secret to dunking.

Maybe now a little karma will be on No. 1 seed Syracuse's side as Jardine leads the Orange (33-2) into Thursday's Sweet Sixteen matchup against No. 4 Wisconsin (26-9) on Thursday night in Boston.
