David Beckham just can't seem to stay clothed.

The British soccer star has become almost as famous for his nearly nude advertising campaigns as he has for his superb free kicks. Beckham has been the star of several underwear campaigns, notably for the designers Emporio Armani and H&M.

Beckham has done lots of billboards for both campaigns, with his image plastered in key locales across the world, but he says it's still a shock when he finds himself staring into his own eyes.

"No matter how many campaigns I do with H&M, I will never get used to seeing myself on billboards," Beckham said. "It's always a surprise to me when I see them. I'm lucky to work with such great photographers and stylists, so the images are always the best they can be."

Maybe a new H&M campaign will help Beckham get accustomed to seeing images of himself in the (nearly) nude.

A short film released Wednesday shows Beckham in his quest for, what else, his clothes. In the film, directed by Guy Ritchie, Beckham quickly loses his robe and undershirt. He is locked out of his home, so he has no choice but to run through Beverly Hills in search of his bathrobe.

We won't give away the ending, but it's safe to say it does not involve clothes.
