Trey Wingo, Mark Schlereth and Tedy Bruschi deserve a standing ovation.

On a recent episode of ESPN's NFL Kickoff, those three crammed in a boatload of references to the 1987 classic "Princess Bride." How'd they do it? With lines like these:

"A.J. Green needs to step up. It's not his fault he's the biggest and the strongest, he doesn't even exercise."

"Everyone seems to think [the Falcons] won't survive, that's just because no one ever has."

"Fans think their team's playoff hopes are dead, but in truth they're only mostly dead."

Bravo, fellas.

Someone at ESPN must be a huge "Princess Bride" fan, and probably asked the trio if they'd be OK doing something like this. Their response? "As you wish."
