It looks like one goalie for a Brazilian team got tired of using his hands. But he probably could have found a better way to make use of his feet.

During a game between Brazilian clubs America-RN and Ceara this weekend, America goalie Dida Valdemar attempted to clear a ball by jump kicking it. Instead, he missed the ball and nailed Ceara's striker in the face.

This must've hurt.

I'm not sure what Valdemar was thinking here. Even if he had made contact with the ball, he would've been completely out of position. Plus, when has a jump kick ever worked for a goalie?
