The San Antonio Spurs retired Tim Duncan's No. 21 Sunday night before taking on the Pelicans. Although Duncan was known for being a quiet superstar, the ceremony was loud and entertaining.

If you have time, the individual speeches were moving.
Gregg Popovich talked about swimming in the U.S. Virgin Islands with Duncan, the Orlando free agency saga and introducing Duncan to Manu Ginobili. "That man right there is exactly the same person now as he was when he walked in the door," Pop said of Duncan.

Ginobili recalled a story of Duncan taking Ginobili out to dinner after Ginobili blew a 2006 playoff game. Duncan talked and talked until he got Ginobili out of a funk.
