Serena Williams is pregnant. Yay Serena!
Williams posted the above photo to her Snapchat, with the caption, "20 weeks." She has been engaged to reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian since December, and it can be assumed from the photo that they are expecting their first child as a couple.
This baby will have the genes of arguably the greatest athlete of all time and a tech wizard. It's good to be this kid.
Williams has not competed since winning the Australian Open in January (and this means she was pregnant during the tournament). She is currently the World No. 2 and her 23 grand slam singles titles are the most ever in the Open Era. She is one grand slam behind Margaret Court for most grand slam singles titles of all time. Her pursuit of that piece of history will have to wait at least until next season.
