Dry eyes were absent from Purcell Pavilion Monday night, as Notre Dame guard Matt Farrell got the surprise of his life.
After the Irish's win against Colgate, Farrell was shown a video message from his brother, Army Lt. Bo, on the Jumbotron. Bo has been serving in Afghanistan and he was supposed to return home in February. At the end of the video, Bo showed up on the court two months early to surprise his brother.
