In another example of how prevalent the NFL has become in American culture, the league had its own exhibit at the Los Angeles Food & Wine Festival. The sixth annual event attracted chefs of critically acclaimed restaurants from Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Chicago and San Francisco while prestigious winemakers, such as Silver Oak, poured their award-winning products.
The NFL added a different option with a Build Your Own Slider experience in its Homegating area, which was buzzing with activity during Sunday's session in Santa Monica.
Understanding the local audience, the NFL also grilled veggie burgers (not pictured here).
