But catching a foul ball with one hand and a kid in your other arm? That deserves national recognition. And a dad in south Florida is getting exactly that after his feat was caught on MLB TV Sunday night.
To make things more unlikely -- and awe-inspiring -- the dad had to make the catch backhanded while competing with other fans. But he came down with the ball and won the admiration of other fans in the crowd.
Naturally, his son didn't fully appreciate his dad's accomplishments, but he was all smiles and seemed to enjoy the scene nonetheless.
