The Lakers unveiled Shaquille O'Neal's statue at Staples Center in a star-studded ceremony as Kobe Bryant and other LA legends celebrated the giant great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Jerry West, Phil Jackson and Bryant honored Shaq in speeches while Magic Johnson paid tribute to him in a video message Plenty of Laker teammates from Shaq's three championship teams in LA showed up as well as Shaq's big family, and three of his kids gave speeches, too It was a great day of nostalgia in Lakerland, which hasn't had good times like this in a while.
