Japanese pole vaulter Hiroki Ogita left his pole in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Pow! Right in the penis

Let us take a second to thank the hard-working people who work in broadcasting the Olympics. To those who operate this camera in Rio's Olympic Stadium, we salute you.
As for Ogita, it was a tough night. The 28-year-old did not make it out of the qualifying round, failing to clear 5.60 meters. For what it's worth, in the clip above, Ogita knocked down the bar with his leg. Then, after he had already failed the jump, his junk held on to the barrier.
If it's any consolation, Ogita now has his trademark moment going into his home Olympics in Tokyo in 2020. Someone get this guy a pair of compression shorts before then.
