Nothing packs a metabolic punch quite like a fast-paced, total-body workout. This workout from Miami-based trainer Idalis Velazquez starts with a classic full-body movement that builds legs of steel, the barbell front squat. Sprinkle in uneven loads in the half kneeling curl and press, and the stability challenge of kneeling med ball slams, and you’re on your way to building a rock-solid core.

Each round ends with a killer set of burpees to enhance cardiovascular conditioning.

Using basic pieces of equipment you can find at almost any gym, this diverse mix of exercises with no rest between movements will annihilate calories. By the time you’re through with this workout, your metabolism will be roaring.
