In a new documentary short, A Fighting Chance, Academy Award-winning filmmaker Morgan Neville tells the story of three Olympic hopefuls battling mountainous barriers to pursue their goals. Meet the beach volleyball duo Miller Pata and LinLine Matauatu of Vanuatu, boxer Yenebier Guillen Benitez of the Dominican Republic and marathoner Tsepo Mathibelle of Lesotho. All the athletes deal with poverty, lack of resources and lack of exposure in their home countries.
The documentary short was funded by Samsung, which also provided resources to the athletes in the film.
