Doris Burke

The legend of -- Drake as an NBA fan only continues to grow. In an interview with New York Magazine, ESPN reporter Doris Burke is asked about the increasing overlap between the NBA and the world of entertainment -- actors, musicians and the like.

Burke jumps on the opportunity to tell a strange story about a recent encounter she had with Drake.

Drake

"Can I tell you something about the last time I was there?" she tells Rembert Browne. "I just could not believe this happened. Drake turned around -- my seat at game six was right behind him -- makes a heart shape [with his hands], and points at me. I'm looking around behind me to see who's there, turn back to him, and then he points and he does it again.

"I texted my daughter and said, 'You need to know Drake just did this to me.'"

We haven't heard Drake's side of the story, so it's hard to know how take that heart-shaped gesture. Does Drake have the hots for Burke? Here's a better question: If someone made a heart from their hands and pointed at you, how would you take that?

Whatever happens, Drake better not be caught distracting Burke when she's on the clock. You can get away with that kind of thing when you're hassling the opposing players. Interfering with the broadcast? That's unforgivable.
