Los Angeles Dodgers

The year of the ball person continues.

Memorable snags have been made in Pittsburgh and Oakland this season. This Los Angeles Dodgers ball girl recently joined the party.

Brandon Drury of the Arizona Diamondbacks scorched a line drive to left field that exited his bat at 108.7 mph, according to MLB StatCast. Traveling faster than an Aroldis Chapman fastball, the foul ball could have seriously injured a fan in the stands. Thankfully, the slick catch saved the day.

The crowd at Chavez Ravine gave the young woman a standing ovation, and Vin Scully was on the call the whole way.
