Michael Phelps is living in Phoenix these days, but he was back in his hometown of Baltimore for Thanksgiving. While in town, Phelps brought his nearly 7-month-old son, Boomer, to Meadowbrook Aquatic and Fitness Center for a swim lesson and shared the moment with a Facebook Live video.
This was Boomer's second lesson, and Michael says, "So he did better today. He didn't cry that much."
Boomer got his lesson from "Cathy Bennett, Michael Phelps' first swim instructor and the director of the Michael Phelps Swim School," writes Baltimore Sun reporter Jonas Shaffer.
Regardless of how Boomer develops as a swimmer, he has already made his first appearance in a commercial. He and his dad share the screen with stars including Nicki Minaj, DJ Khaled, Pharrell and Steve Buscemi in a spot for Beats by Dre:
