Bob Costas was 8 when he heard Vin Scully's voice for the first time. Costas and his dad were driving across the country from New York to Los Angeles, and he still remembers this magical moment when the Dodgers' broadcast drifted on to the car radio. "It's a memory that connects me to the game and to my dad, a memory that I will never forget," said Costas two years ago while honoring Scully, who was receiving a lifetime achievement award from the Pump Foundation.

Costas joined Bob Miller, Al Michaels and Brent Musburger in telling some of their favorite Scully anecdotes. This includes Costas talking about a special connection between Scully and Ray Charles.
