Phil Mickelson was born on June 16, 1970.

Known as "Lefty," Mickelson won three NCAA individual championships at Arizona State.

Mickelson turned professional at the age of 22, and won his first major at The Masters in 2004. At the time, he was only the third golfer ever with a left-handed swing to win a major. Bubba Watson became the fourth member of this group in 2012, when he won The Masters.

Mickelson is one of only 16 golfers ever that has conquered three of the four professional majors.
