Frank Lampard was born on June 20, 1978.
Lampard is the all-time leading goal scorer for Chelsea FC with 147 in 13 seasons.
He began his senior career for West Ham United, playing with the club from 1995-2001. After briefly being on loan by Swansea City, he moved to Chelsea in 2001 for £11 million.
From the get-go, Lampard established himself as a mainstay on Chelsea's first team. He made 164 consecutive appearances, a Premier League record for any non-goalkeeper.
The prolific goalscorer led Chelsea to back-to-back Premier League titles in 2005 and 2006. In 2008 he resigned with the club, making him the highest paid player in history at that time.
