ESPN sportscaster Chris Berman was born on May 10, 1955.

Berman is best-known as the face of Sunday NFL Countdown and Monday Night Football broadcasts, earning a passionate following for his inventive turns of phrase and thrilling recap of football games. Several of his coined sayings have become mainstays of NFL football, most notably the phrase, "He could ... go ... all ... the ... way!"

Berman has also contributed to SportsCenter, , and is brought in as a commentator for both the U.S. Open and the NHL's Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Among his many accomplishments are a few notable missteps. His most famous mistake was captured on video when he had a profanity-laden outburst in front of the camera during a Monday Night Football segment.
