April 28, 1993: Washington Capitals forward Dale Hunter delivers a cheap shot after Pierre Turgeon's goal late in Game 6 of the Patrick Division semifinals.

The hit separated Turgeon's shoulder and triggered a fight between the two teams at the Nassau Coliseum.

The Islanders won 5-3, and the Capitals' season ended. Turgeon, though, missed the next series when the Islanders upset the two-time defending Stanley Cup champion Penguins. The NHL slapped Hunter with a 21-game suspension.
