It's been quite a week for Landry Fields.
The Toronto Raptors forward has played three games in four days, including one in Madison Square Garden against the Knicks, the same team that drafted Fields and watched him blossom for two years before signing with the Raptors.
Fields' years with the Knicks weren't the only highlight of his time in New York. While living in the Big Apple, Fields met and started dating supermodel Elaine Alden. And so Fields thought it was fitting that when he asked Alden to marry him, he would do it in New York.
"I asked her here in New York," Fields told reporters. "I met her here in New York, I felt it was only right."
Alden detailed on Instagram how the proposal went down. Both Alden and Fields like to take photo booth pictures wherever they go, and so on Wednesday morning they went to a booth for their customary shoot. When Alden went to get the stip, this is what she saw:
Alden turned around to see Fields down on one knee.
Afterwards, both Fields and Alden expressed their excitement over Twitter.
