A 22-year-old New Jersey man has been busted by police after playing a disgraceful version of hardball.

KYW Newsradio in Philadelphia reports Paul Cherfane drove around in his red Land Rover to play "windshield baseball." In the game, Cherfane is accused of smashing the windows out of dozens of cars in several areas of South Jersey.

More than 30 parked cars had their windows broken out. "So far, our estimated total damage for all these vehicles is in excess of 30,000," Cherry Hill Police Sargeant Joseph Vitarrelli told KYW.

Police used surveillance video and paint left at the scene to track down the suspect.

Cherfane may have more hits than the Mariners this season, but odds are the judicial system won't let him come home anytime soon.
