The 1991 hit "Point Blank" with Keanu Reeves and the late Patrick Swayze has been remade, and it's scheduled for a Christmas Day release, including availability in 3D.

Like the original, this version features plenty of extreme sports. There are scenes with snowboarders, surfers, skateboarders, wingsuit pilots, motorcycle riders and mountain climbers. Some of the notable names making appearance include Laird Hamilton (surfing) and Louis Vito (snowboarding).

In the leads, Luke Bracey gets the Reeves role as undercover FBI agent Johnny Utah while Edgar Ramirez takes Swayze's spot as the villain, Bodhi.
