Vin Scully can talk pucks too.

The Stanley Cup paid a visit to the Dodger broadcast booth Tuesday night, and in classic Scully fashion, he told the story of growing up as a Rangers fan and pulled out the name of a goaltender from the 1930s.

"I go way back in hockey," Scully said. "I remember the Rangers, as a little boy, I used to marvel at their goalie. Not Jonathan Quick. It was Davie Kerr. You'd have to look that up in the old books."

Later, after saluting the Kings' remarkable run to the championship, Scully inquired whether it was true that some players had used the Cup to make margaritas on a TV appearance.

"Well, I'm sure you've washed off all the salt," he said with a laugh.
