He can hit a jumper, but can he hit a slider?
Before his Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game outside Dallas on Saturday, Dirk Nowitzki stepped into the batters box to take a few cuts. He probably won't be joining the Texas Rangers anytime soon, but seeing as he has a huge strike zone (he's seven feet tall) and baseball isn't popular in Germany, he wasn't that bad.

Dirk might be better suited as a pitcher. His height would give him an advantage on the mound, plus he's proven he can throw heat.
