Barack Obama is officially a lame duck. But he stills gets to hang out with the coolest people in the country.
On Tuesday, Obama awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to 21 of the nation's most influential people, including Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Bruce Springsteen, Ellen DeGeneres, Robert De Niro, Bill and Melinda Gates, Tom Hanks, Lorne Michaels, Robert Redford, Diana Ross and Vin Scully.
But perhaps Obama's strongest one-liner came when introducing Michael Jordan. The president says His Airness is "more than just an internet meme."

Obama also noted "the guy from Space Jam" was among those in attendance.
