Two years ago, Anthony Lynn was a candidate to be offensive coordinator with Jacksonville. His interview with Jaguars coach Gus Bradley lasted about seven hours, more than twice the usual time for such conversations, as they discussed life as much as they did football. Ultimately, Lynn didn't take that job. But he had connected so well with Bradley at a personal level that Lynn knew he wanted to work with him at some point.

That time is now. The Los Angeles Chargers hired Lynn as their head coach in January. Bradley was available after the Jaguars fired him late last season. Lynn targeted him to be his defensive coordinator, and Bradley turned down other offers to join the Chargers.

As both were introduced to the L.A. media Wednesday, they talked about how that interview in Jacksonville helped them discover that they shared important core values of what defines them as men. Check out the video above for details.
