For months, reports from Rio have indicated that conditions in the Olympic host city are inhospitable at best and hazardous at worst.
Andrew Bogut, the newest member of the Dallas Mavericks and a key player on Australia's basketball team, went on a Twitter rampage Monday evening detailing the unglamorous housing for athletes.
He also introduced the world to the hashtag: #IOCLuxuryLodging.
