When Michael Jordan graced the basketball court, his shoes were almost as popular as his game. Thursday in Chicago, Jordan Brand revealed the next evolution of Jordan's signature footwear, the Air Jordan XXX.
While at the launch of the new shoe, we spoke with two people that know a lot about the Air Jordan line: Nike's Vice President for Design and Special Projects, Tinker Hatfield, and Senior Creative Director of Innovation, Mark Smith. Tinker has had a hand in the Jordan line since the Jordan III, and Mark Smith has been a part of the Jordan line since the Jordan XX.
