Mohamed Sanu and the Bengals entered Monday night with an undefeated record. For the first time in the franchise's 48-season history, the Bengals were 8-0.
With all kinds of scrutiny on Cincinnati, Sanu asked a question: why so serious?
Those are Joker-themed cleats. Based on the picture, Bengals orange is matched with Joker purple and white. The Joker's face, scar marks and the phrase, "Why so serious?" are all present on the shoes.
In the end, though, it was J.J. Watt (Batman?) and the Texans getting the most of the Bengals. Houston gave Cincinnati the city's first loss of the season, 10-6. Sanu had one reception for five yards in his worst performance of the season for the 8-1 Bengals.
But the cleats were fresh.
