Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant

When Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals was said and done, we were all marveling at the greatness of Stephen Curry, and cringing at the way Oklahoma City gave up a 3-1 series lead.

The series pushed both teams to the brink, and brought the Thunder within a few made baskets of a surprise trip to the NBA Finals. After the game, Curry and Durant met on the court, and the Warriors star had something to say to Durant.

Neither player revealed what Curry said, but according to Marcus Thompson of the San Jose Mercury News, Curry told Durant, "This is what it’s all about. This is what we play for. Those battles, those moments people will remember for a long time."

Of course, they also play for a championship -- something that Golden State still has a shot at, while Durant's team will have to watch from the couch.

The NBA also shared a Vine of the two stars' exchange:

Between Curry's wisdom and his impending free agency, Durant must have a lot on his mind. We'll see where the road leads him this summer.
