Robert Kraft bought the New England Patriots in 1994. At the time, the team had only been to one Super Bowl and never won an NFL title. Under Kraft's watch, the Patriots have been to eight Super Bowls and won five championships. The Lombardi Trophy returned to familiar hands Sunday night.

But this Super Bowl title may have been the sweetest for Kraft. His franchise battled the NFL over Deflategate for two years, and they were left with a four-game suspension for quarterback Tom Brady this season. A championship was Kraft, Tom Brady and Bill Belichick's revenge. When Kraft came down from his box to celebrate the victory, he brought gifts: cigars.

Kraft can be seen handing a cigar to Chris Hogan.

"Non-Patriot fans counted us out," Kraft says, "I looked over at Jonathan [Kraft]. It was the middle of the third quarter. I said, 'You think Tommy has given up? No f-ing way.'"

The celebration has begun again for Kraft and his football club.
