Muhammad Ali
 

Muhammad Ali was born January 17, 1942, and in addition to being known as The Greatest for his boxing prowess, he was also called The Louisville Lip for speaking his mind in such a distinctive way.

Ali, who was 74 when he died June 3, 2016, had a career record of 56-5 with 37 knockouts. In his 2004 memoir, The Soul of a Butterfly: Reflections on a Life's Journey, Ali wrote, "I would like to be remembered as a man who won the heavyweight title three times, who was humorous, and who treated everyone right."
