Big-time college football programs periodically renovate their stadiums to add seats as a way of generating more revenue, but Ohio State had something completely different in mind with its latest upgrade.

Coach Urban Meyer tweeted photos Thursday to show how Ohio Stadium will add one seat -- that no one will sit in -- to honor members of the U.S. military whose status was never resolved.

The accompanying plaque, which will be officially dedicated Saturday for the Buckeyes' season opener against Bowling Green, reads: "Since World War 1, more than 92,000 American soldiers are unaccounted for. This unoccupied seat is dedicated to the memory of these brave men and women and to the sacrifices each made in serving this country. God Bless You. God Bless America."
