NBA 2K17

After a summer of jaw-dropping free agency deals, basketball fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of NBA 2K17. The opportunity to play as Kevin Durant and the Warriors super-team, the new and improved New York Knicks and other rebuilt franchises is extremely tantalizing.

A new trailer for the game, which will feature Paul George of the Indiana Pacers on the cover, has just been released.

The video, set to Imagine Dragons' "Friction," features Damian Lillard, Draymond Green and LeBron all doing their trademark celebrations. It also shows off several players in their new jerseys including Rajon Rondo in Bulls gear, Joakim Noah and Derrick Rose in Knicks jerseys, Harrison Barnes and Andrew Bogut in Mavs' attire and Pau Gasol in Spurs' black and silver.

Kobe Bryant also makes an appearance in the trailer donning his old No. 8. The 1992 USA dream team is supposed to be featured in the game along with the 2016 gold medal winning squad from Rio.

NBA 2K17 will be released on September 20.
