NBA Hall of Famer Dikembe Mutombo was among the people scrambling for safety Tuesday in Brussels, Belgium, as terrorist attacks hit the city's international airport.
Mutombo was at the airport at the time of the attacks, but later used Facebook to tell friends, family and followers that he was unharmed in the attacks.
Mutombo didn't share specifics of his experience, other than to characterize the airport as "craziness." He shared another picture and post, presumably when he had arrived in a more secure location.
Mutombo's foundation also shared an update:
The terrorist attacks in Brussels have killed more than 30 people and injured more than 100. The city is on lockdown as officials try to get the situation under control.
