Johnny Manziel is back on Twitter -- and taking advice from dubious sources.
The Browns quarterback signed in to retweet a message from Charlie Sheen, who sent him words of encouragement as Manziel struggles with a drinking problem and, more recently, assault allegations from his former girlfriend.
Sheen told the former Heisman winner to stay optimistic.
@JManziel2
it's time 2 refocus
all of your energy
on health & Football!
it's never 2 late

Few people would recommend Sheen to Manziel as a close friend, but the actor could be valuable in helping give the quarterback some perspective and advice.
Sheen has made plenty of mistakes, especially in recent years, but he's also learned plenty about the consequences of those actions. In the past few years, he's been fired from a hit television show, struggled with addiction, and recently revealed that he is HIV-positive.
Meanwhile, the Browns seem ready to unload the quarterback. The team had recently sought to trade Manziel, but after his latest assault allegations, it’s highly unlikely that a team will offer compensation, suggesting Cleveland will end up cutting him.
Manziel could also face a suspension from the league. But with his personal life and professional career in pieces, that seems to be the least of his problems.
