Jim Harbaugh

Families across North America flooded movie theaters Thursday night to catch the premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Being the normal person he is (sarcasm, folks), Jim Harbaugh watched the film with sons Jay (who is a Michigan tight ends/assistant special teams coach) and James.

Of course Harbaugh roots for the villain. We apology to readers expecting any other outcome.

Perhaps Harbaugh sees something of himself in the talented Jedi converted to the Dark Side. Harbaugh has always been a polarizing force, but his coaching talent's can't be denied.

In his first season at Michigan, Harbaugh has rejuvenated a program that struggled under Brady Hoke. The Wolverines this season are 9-3 with a Citrus Bowl date against Florida on New Year's Day.

For the future, this only spells bad news for the rest of the Big Ten.
