Boxing is tough enough under the best of conditions. Dino Wells tried doing it when he was 40 -- after a 15-year layoff. The premise sounds quite far-fetched, but this another case where truth is stranger, and more compelling, than fiction.

Wells' incredible story of an improbable boxing comeback while trying to build a new connection with his 9-year-old son is chronicled in director Brad Bores' documentary, When The Bell Rings. The film, which will be released on all VOD platforms Nov. 24, won the jury award for Best Documentary Feature at the New Orleans Film Festival.

The production of the film is a partnership among Artest Media Group, Bare Knuckle Media, BBF Films, Something Kreative Studios and ThePostGame. NBA star Metta World Peace is executive producer.

The documentary can be pre-ordered on Vimeo. Stay updated on the latest developments of the film with its Facebook page. And check back on ThePostGame for updates and more exclusive content in advance of the official release.
