Shortly after LeGarrette Blount jumped over Dolphins cornerback Byron Maxwell en route to a 26-yard gain Sunday, one Patriots fan asked Lolo Jones to assess the running back's technique.
Jones, who won three NCAA titles as a hurdler at LSU, gave Blount a mixed review -- "bad technique" but "insanely athletic" -- for a grade of B-.
.@CountryHickGuy he lands w his trail leg foot which is bad technique (slows u) but insanely athletic Score B- https://t.co/iAXgL9Uqkb

This conversation of NFL players hurdling defenders continued on Twitter, and Jones liked the form that Lions tight end Eric Ebron showed in 2014 against the Bears.
first nfl athlete to properly attack a hurdle. slight lean in torso as he jumps makes him Quick over hurdle.Score: A https://t.co/jGm5j3iYjy

When Ebron lobbied for an A+, Jones explained her grading system:
@Ebron85 only guys who score a touchdown after a hurdle get A+ Bc the goal of every hurdle race is to cross the finish line.
